Why Wanilla exists
AI coding tools made building a product trivial. Shipping it as a real mobile business did not get any easier. Apple still expects native capability, correct in-app purchase plumbing, privacy disclosures and a store listing that actually converts — and that is exactly where most AI-built apps stall.
We built Wanilla to close that last mile. Instead of another tool that hands you more work, we build the launch with you: the native features, the subscriptions, the submission materials, help with review responses, and the growth loop afterwards. You remain the publisher. You keep building the product; we help make it a store business.
What we do
Native iOS publishing
We build your AI-built product into an iOS app with genuine native features — StoreKit, push, biometrics, offline handling — working to Apple's Guideline 4.2 on minimum functionality. Apple makes the final decision.
Subscriptions & paywalls
StoreKit 2 in-app purchases, trial and weekly/monthly pricing, and paywall placement tuned for day-0 conversion. In-app digital goods must use Apple IAP — we set that up correctly from the start.
ASO & growth
Store listing, keywords, screenshots and iteration after launch, run by our appXL ASO Agent with human oversight, plus push notifications.
Ongoing operation
Release preparation, help with Apple review responses, privacy nutrition labels and reporting — so your store presence keeps moving without you becoming a mobile engineer.
Frequently asked questions
What is Wanilla?
Wanilla is an App Store launch and growth partner for apps built with AI coding tools such as Base44, Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Rork and v0. We build a native iOS app around your existing product, add subscriptions, paywalls and push notifications, prepare your App Store submission, and support your ASO and monetisation. You publish from your own account.
Who is Wanilla for?
Solo founders and small teams who have a working web app and want it on the App Store as a revenue-generating product, without hiring mobile engineers or rebuilding the codebase.
How is Wanilla different from a no-code app builder?
Apple's Guideline 4.2 asks for apps with genuine native value. Wanilla adds native features — StoreKit 2 purchases, push notifications, biometrics, offline states — and prepares your App Store Connect submission and helps with review responses as a service, not a self-serve tool.
Where is Wanilla based?
Wanilla Ltd is registered in England & Wales and operates remotely. General enquiries go to hello@wanilla.co; legal and data requests to legal@wanilla.co.
Does Wanilla publish apps under its own Apple Developer account?
No, never. Every client must have their own Apple Developer account, in their own name or their business's name. The client is the Account Holder and submits the app to Apple. Wanilla acts as a team member on the client's account to prepare the build and submission materials, and never submits apps to Apple itself.
How do I work with Wanilla?
Book a free launch review. We look at your app, confirm what Apple will require, and give you a fixed scope and a date your app will be ready for you to submit before any work starts.
