Requirement: your own Apple Developer account
You must have your own Apple Developer account, in your name or your business's name, before your app can be submitted. You are the Account Holder and you submit the app to Apple yourself. Wanilla acts as a team member on your account to prepare the build and submission materials. Wanilla never submits apps to Apple, and we never publish client apps under Wanilla's own account. Questions founders ask
What happens in the four working days?
Day 1: native features and Apple in-app purchase set up. Day 2: paywall and push notifications. Day 3: App Store assets and metadata in up to five languages. Day 4: submission materials ready, and you submit from your own Apple Developer account. Apple then reviews the app — that step is theirs, not ours, and how long it takes is outside our control.
Will the app Apple reviews be the same app my users get?
Yes, always. We don't use hidden features or remote switches that change what the app is after approval. Any change to how the app behaves goes to Apple as a new version.
Do you guarantee Apple approval?
No. No one can guarantee approval. We prepare your app to meet Apple's App Review Guidelines, and Apple alone decides. If Apple raises an issue, we help you fix it and prepare a new version for you to submit.
What apps won't you take on?
Apps using names, brands or content the founder doesn't own or have a licence for, apps that would sell digital goods outside Apple in-app purchase where it's required, and anything that breaches Apple's guidelines.
Do you take a cut of my revenue?
No. 0% revenue share and hosting included. The platform subscription is the whole bill.
