Lovable App Store Submission: What Apple Checks and How to Pass First Time

    Quick answer

To pass Apple review in 2026, a Lovable app needs a native shell with real native features (push, in-app purchase), StoreKit for digital subscriptions, Sign in with Apple if it offers social login, in-app account deletion, accurate privacy labels and a complete listing. Apple review then usually takes 24–48 hours.

Lovable gets you a working web app in days. Getting that app approved on the App Store is a different job: Apple reviews it as a native product, not a website.

    The short answer

To pass Apple review, a Lovable app needs a native shell with real native features (push, in-app purchase, offline handling), accurate privacy labels, Sign in with Apple if you offer social login, StoreKit for any digital subscription, and a complete store listing. Missing any one of these is the usual cause of rejection.

    What Apple checks

    1. Native value (Guideline 4.2). A plain website in a frame is rejected. Add push notifications, native navigation and in-app purchase.
    2. Payments (Guideline 3.1.1). Digital subscriptions sold inside the app must use Apple in-app purchase. A Stripe checkout for the same thing will be rejected.
    3. Sign in with Apple (4.8). Required if you offer Google or other social login.
    4. Account deletion (5.1.1). Users must be able to delete their account from inside the app.
    5. Privacy labels. Declare everything your Lovable backend collects, including analytics.
    6. Completeness (2.1). No placeholder screens, broken links or test data. Give Apple a working demo login.

    Step by step

    1. Freeze a release version of your Lovable app and test it on a real iPhone.
    2. Wrap it in a native iOS shell and add push and StoreKit.
    3. Set up App Store Connect: bundle ID, agreements, tax and banking.
    4. Create subscription products and connect them to your paywall.
    5. Prepare screenshots, a subtitle and keywords.
    6. Submit with review notes and a demo account, then answer Apple quickly if they reply.

    How long it takes

Preparation takes a day if you have done it before. Apple review usually takes 24–48 hours, and longer in peak periods.
